Wonder when the last time was that he "THANKED" the many straight people that have signed up and served voluntarily. Nice that they now let the GLBT serve openly, but that doesn't make them special or deserving of higher praise than other people.

They thank the Service members quite often and regularly. And they thank the African Americans during Black History Month, and the Hispanics during Hispanic Heritage Month, and the Asians during Asian Month, and the Women during Women's Month -- This just happens to be Gay Pride Month, so he thanked the Gays.

It's nothing unusual or out of the ordinary. We thank a lot of groups. This one's gay.

You need to know what you are talking about, in this case, the Department of Defense and the Services.
