Information:
Transsexual Independence Day is a global celebration of individuals who have overcome (or are in the process of overcoming) their birth condition, aiming for hormonal reconstitution, corrective surgery, and full transition into society. We have scheduled a letter-writing campaign for 22 March 2011. It is open to everyone who opposes the arrogance of the Transgender Umbrella. You can be in or out, disclosed or not. Write your own letter and make two central points aboit people of transsexual history, those born transsexual: (1) we have (or had) a correctable medical condition, and (2) we should not be confused with the sociopolitical and lifestyle activism of transgender activists. You can leave your message here and the intended recipient(s). While preferred, you do not have to use your legal name and/or address if you cloak your legal identity. We will send the message for you and let your recipients know it is on your behalf. Please leave a valid email adress so we may contact you for possible followup or if we have any questions.
