Dear Prime Minister:

I am writing to ask you to correct a serious misrepresentation by the former Labour Government that has been used to diminish the value of Law passed by Parliament.

I respectfully ask that your Government instructs all Departments & Agencies to stop referring to someone who has corrected their sex and obtained a new birth certificate as trans or transgender.

The term transsexual or transgender may be appropriate whilst someone is in physical transition from one sex to another but once completed and the requirements of the Gender Recognition Act fulfilled it is both offensive & discriminatory.

The purpose of the Gender Recognition Act was to provide a new birth certificate, the right to marry someone of the opposite sex and privacy that this has in fact happened.

Referring to such people as (or putting them into) Trans or Transgender without their express permission is a flagrant political disregard of the Act.

Trans or Transgender was expanded for Queer socio/political purposes by Labour despite the obvious fact that people who surgically correct their birth sex are completely unrelated to men or women who simply chose to alter their visible presentation to society.

You only have to look at the tiny number of people who obtain a new birth certificate to realise that the statement is true and that a great wrong has been done.

Thank you for what I know you will do to improve the lives of this tiny number of the people of our great nation that simply want to correct a birth defect and fully integrate into society.

Event 2: My Statement Posted on the Manchester Quaker Meeting House Notice BoardThis statement is what I intended for the Quaker newspaper after the invite from the Quaker Lesbian Gay Fellowship. It wound up as a thesis posted at the Quaker Meeting House.

There are fewer than 3,000 men & women in the U.K. who have corrected their birth defect and obtained a new birth certificate. There are millions of men who fantasize that they are in fact women. Far fewer women feel that they are men — which is understandable.

Medical sex correction for men to become women is well developed such that with cross sex hormones and surgery pretty much everything is done and made functional aside from a womb. Medical sex correction for women to become men is less functional though the effects of cross sex hormones are facially dramatic.

The Olympic rule for women to compete in the opposite sex to that assigned at birth requires having completed sex reassignment surgery, (vaginoplasty), being legally recognized as a member of the sex they wish to compete as, and having undergone two years of hormonal therapy (unless they transitioned before puberty.

The general public consider the words sex and gender interchangeable and meaning the same thing. Of course neither correcting your sex nor your identity is a mental illness. All of that is simple and understandable but now let us bring in the gender theory!

In the early 70s Lesbian & Gay people were freed from the stigma of being mentally ill as common sense triumphed in that nature is more important than nurture and that even if it wasn't then a making a lifestyle choice is a valid use of free will.

Transsexual people were, however, left behind to the whims of the specialist sexuality psychiatrists who ignored physical cause. If you appoint a psychiatrist as a gatekeeper to surgery then those who want surgery will learn the script and act out the required role. It's very simple there are two distinct groups.

• Transsexual — a female (male) MIND trapped in a male (female) BODY
  
  
• Transgender — a female (male) MIND trapped in a male (female) ROLE

Grouping two such distinctly different groups under the single umbrella term of Trans is wrong and grossly offensive to people who correct their bodies to the limit of surgical skill. What's worse is that the Queer political lobbyists succeeded in having the whole charade written into English law by the requirement for someone correcting their birth defect to have to accept the mental illness diagnosis to get the birth certificate.

The fantasy or fetish role where women can have a penis has dominated Gender Theory with very aggressive transgender people silencing all those who question the scientific basis by screaming transphobia and gender is a range. Gender is at best a range of expression & perceptions but not including the right to deny physical sex correction and full integration into society.

Transsexuals never change the sex of their brain nor are they confused about it. As a direct result three key issues remain unresolved for men & women who were born transsexual.

1. The absolute and total removal of the mental illness classification.
   
   
2. The automatic right to a corrected birth certificate with no pre-conditions if someone has had full sex corrective surgery.
   
   
3. The absolute right of a child (from 8) to obtain puberty delaying drugs prior to corrective surgery at 16 without permission from the medical profession.

Transsexuals do not deny the rights of Transgender to campaign for a third sex or gender but not at the cost of denial of corrected sex.
