We look at the Pride Fest as more of an outreach mission and a antidote to the various transgender booths. We had multiple people come to our booth and ask us why those men were in dresses over at the main TG booth.
Our physical presence at the Pride Festival serves as a rational counterweight to the TG propagandists. If we weren't there, the transgenders would have free reign as they do in many other places.

My first experience was pre-op when my Doctor prescribed a really dose of Premarin along with Proscar (he said I had a benign enlarged prostate) and Spironolactone. On my next visit, I informed him that I wanted to switch to Estradiol and a higher dosage. I agree that we are our own best subjects. Indeed, that sometimes is true even in fields where there has been more research. For example, I almost died a few days post-SRS due to a vaginal bleed that I now am pretty confident was related to an adverse reaction to Celebrex. Research suggests that my reaction was very rare. But somebody gets to be the rare one. I now hasten to mention the allergy whenever I seek treatment.

I am so glad for you that a solution came your way.
I would agree that osteorthritis is not exclusively as disease of age. However, it is predominantly one that strikes older people, especially women.
However, health statistics show that the lower bound for age is dropping and reports of teenagers are not uncommon. The whole matter is complicated by obesity, which may be a major contributing factor.
Let's hope we can find a cure.
