I am not transgendered, HBS men and women are not transgendered, we are not transgendered. We are the innate sex our brains were born with. Nothing has changed except the genital configuration which was brought into conformity with our neurobiology.

As to the use of pronouns, why do you think the transgendered person in the jokes is presenting as a women? What sort of male-centric thinking is that? The whole world does not revolve around male cross-dressers and transgenders.

I could just have easily have used a feminine pronoun (she), or a neutered pronoun (it) but chose to follow the the general rule of English grammar that when the sex of the subject is unknown, the default pronoun is male.

You gotta problem with that? - Lisa Thompson

I read your jokes and they are funny. The only thing that bothered me a bit was your use of the pronoun he in all the jokes. You would use the word transgender then back it up with the word he.. I would be insulted in real life. I assume you are tg your self.. why would you do that? - Bobbi Jane

I would tell you the one about how many transgenders it takes to change a light bulb but there isn't enough available space for all the questioning the gender of the light bulb. - Sue Robins
