Great Read!!

I've got all the notes my Aunt made about my Dad's side of the family, I just have to go through them and get them sorted out and the family tree drawn. I do know that apparently somewhere back up the line one of my ancesters made the trip on the Mayflower (I DO need to confirm that) and that also according to my Aunt (now deceased) I have two ancesters that fought in the revolution and thus qualify me for the DAR (Daughters of the Revolution). I also know one of my Great Great Grandfathers was a barge Captain on the Raritan Canal in New York and I proudly own the Conch Shell he used as a boat horn. I still need to dig some more, rumour (again my Aunt) has it that through one of my Great (x times?) Grandmothers I am related to the wife of King Louis XIV of France. I go to see my Uncle this next month (he turns 98 the 25th of this month) in Missouri and he supposedly has the history in a more organized fashion; that's all on the Dunn, Culver, Brown, ??? side of the family.

Keep up the good work Lisa - Pamela

Interesting. It is a sketch but still reminds me of some cool bios I have read. Do you have plans to expand this into a book?

My family doesn't go back that far. Well, OK, maybe it does, but they are too embarassed to tell the story.
